Cindy Humphlett has been the SHS Theatre Director since the 2021/2022 school year. She was the previous co-director for Creekview High School where she produced and directed plays and musicals, such as The Importance of Being Earnest, The Music Man, and Addams Family.

Cindy Humphlett has been the SHS Theatre Director since the 2021/2022 school year. She was the previous co-director for Creekview High School where she produced and directed plays and musicals, such as The Importance of Being Earnest, The Music Man, and Addams Family.
While at SHS, she’s directed the award-winning one-act plays Fortress and Little Women, as well as Miss Havisham’s Expectations, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Broadway Version), Chicago: (Teen Edition), and The One Act Play That Goes Wrong.
She thanks her fellow directors, cast and crew, and Booster Club for putting in countless hours to make all of the shows at SHS successful. She also sends love out to her husband/emotional support animal, Mark, for keeping her fed, hydrated, and championed during the show seasons.
Ms. Loudermilk has spent the past 30+ years either onstage or behind the scenes as director, music director, stage manager, and choreographer.

Some directing credits include: Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde, Mary Poppins, and Matilda the Musical.
When not on or off stage, she is an administrator at Sequoyah and spends time volunteering. She is also co-owner of the award winning From the Top Theatrics and Top Hat Theatrics. She shares her love for music with her fiancé Luis and their Wheaten Terrier Duggie (who also acts).
Josh Markham is the choral director at Sequoyah High School.
He is a life-long Braves fan. Mr. Markham enjoys losing in various games to his clever children and telling hilarious jokes. He is an Eagle Scout and loves the show Seinfeld.

Mr. Markham’s degrees in Music Education are from Shorter College (Rome, GA) and the University of Georgia (Athens). Influential teachers include Martha Shaw, John Ratledge, Bill Caldwell, and Greg Hucks.

college at Ohio University, where she earned a degree in Musical Theatre on a full talent
scholarship.
She performed professionally in the Met
Cindi Bekas has been choreographing musicals for Sequoyah High School and Academy Street Theatre Group since 2007. She began training in Classical Ballet, Jazz, and Tap at age 3 and continued through
college at Ohio University, where she earned a degree in Musical Theatre on a full talent
scholarship.
She performed professionally in the Metro DC area before moving to Atlanta in 1980. She has been teaching dance and drama since 1990, creating and managing two dance programs in the North Atlanta area.
